Initial Situation & Use
The customer’s existing testing system was technically obsolete, spare parts were no longer available and only some of the documentation remained.
A new, future-proof solution was needed to ensure manufacturing quality and reduce the risk of downtime
The system is used to inspect the control edges on valve pistons and to clean control housings after machining.
Our Solution
G+P Engineering AG was responsible for the mechanical redesign, engineering, and implementation of a control edge test bench as well as a separate control housing cleaning station.
The solution was designed for multiple valve sizes and meets the requirements of the applicable machinery directives.
The electrical and control systems were implemented by an external partner.
